The book picks up after the events of The Gilded Wolves and in all honesty it was painful from the very beginning. Since I first read The Gilded Wolves I knew that there was no way for the author to ever disappoint me. Roshani Chokshi has managed to squeeze my heart throughout this story, and I still feel the squeeze when this book comes to my mind at random. I don’t think I have enough words to describe how much I loved this book aside from the fact that I did a lot of screaming, and I might have sobbed (might have).
